- A Norwegian Stormtropp (Storm Troop) is a mechanised infantry unit that is armed with MG3 machine-guns, Carl Gustav recoilless anti-tank weapons, G3 battle rifles and 66mm M72 LAW disposible anti-tank rockets
- They ride in M113 armoured personel carriers (APC, Norwegian PPK, pansret personellkjøretøy) and NM135 infantry fighting vehicles
- A Danish Panserinfanteri Deling (Armoured Infantry Platoon) was generally made up of three groups, each in turn was made up of around nine to eleven soldiers lead by a sergeant
- Each group was armed with one M/62 (MG3) machine-gun, one M/79 (Carl Gustav) recoilless rifle, M/72 LAWs and M/75 (G-3) semi-automatic rifles
